        Day 1: Arrive at Leh (3,500m)
        Acclimatization, settle in, and a gentle orientation walk through the old bazaar.

       Day 2: Leh City Exploration
       Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame Museum — stories etched in stone and prayer.

       Day 3: Enter Village Life — Likir (3,700m)
       Likir Monastery, introduction to traditional Ladakhi archery with village masters.

       Day 4: Walk the Landscape — Yangthang (3,900m)
       11km trek through barley fields and stone paths, and cook with a local family in the evening.

       Day 5: Village to Village — Hemis Shukpachan (3,700m)
       10km trek, Hemis Shukpachan village stay, evening cooking class with traditional recipes.

       Day 6: Towards Temisgam (3,200m)
       12km trek descending through terraced fields, Temisgam Monastery, riverside camp.

       Day 7: Sacred Time — Saga Dawa Festival
       Full Moon Day celebration at Serkarmo Monastery & Avalokiteshwara Temple — butter lamps, chanting, masked dances.

       Day 8: Return & Reflection
       Return to Leh, Alchi Monastery visit — famed for its 11th-century Kashmiri-style murals.

       Day 9:Leh — Homeward Journey
       Morning at leisure, airport transfers and fond farewells.

WALKING DISTANCE 

  • Approx. 38–42 km of trekking during the Kailash Parikrama

  • Spread across 3 days in high-altitude terrain

  • The longest day involves crossing the Dolma La Pass (5,630m) with approximately 20–22 km of walking

 

 

Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu (1,355m)

Arrive in Nepal’s vibrant capital and settle into the journey with a warm welcome and orientation.

Day 2 – Kathmandu Heritage Trail (1,355m)

Explore sacred temples, stupas, and ancient heritage sites that form the spiritual foundation of the yatra.

Day 3 – Drive to Ghatekhola via Syabrubesi (1,700m)

Journey through winding Himalayan roads, river valleys, and mountain settlements towards the Nepal–Tibet border.

Day 4 – Cross into Tibet & Drive to Kyirong (2,774m)

Complete immigration formalities and enter the Tibetan plateau surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes.

Day 5 – Kyirong to Saga (4,640m)

Drive through vast Tibetan highlands, crossing mountain passes and serene lakes en route to Saga.

Day 6 – Acclimatisation in Saga (4,640m)

Rest and acclimatise at high altitude while preparing physically and mentally for the sacred journey ahead.

Day 7 – Mansarovar Darshan & Parikrama (4,600m)

Witness the first divine views of Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash while circling the sacred lake.

Day 8 – Pooja at Mansarovar & Drive to Darchen (4,670m)

Participate in rituals and prayers by the lake before proceeding to Darchen, the base for the Kailash Parikrama.

Day 9 – Trek to Diraphuk – North Face of Kailash (4,900m)

Begin the Kailash Parikrama with breathtaking views of the North Face and the spiritual energy of the mountain.

Day 10 – Cross Dolma La Pass & Trek to Zuthulphuk (5,630m – Highest Point)

Undertake the most challenging and transformative day of the yatra across the sacred Dolma La Pass before descending to Zuthulphuk (4,790m).

Day 11 – Complete Parikrama & Return to Saga (4,640m)

Complete the final stretch of the Kailash circuit and drive back through the Tibetan plateau.

Day 12 – Return to Kyirong (2,774m)

Retrace the scenic Himalayan route back towards the Nepal border.

Day 13 – Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,355m)

Return to Kathmandu with time to rest, reflect, and celebrate the completion of the sacred journey.

Day 14 – Departure

Bid farewell to the Himalayas and conclude the yatra with memories for a lifetime.
